Food was great and was ready when I arrived. Small local diner with Carlos cooking the meals himself. Great portions. Would return!
Hot coffee served immediately, ordered an ham and cheese omelette which was served hot with tons of ham. Hash browns were as expected. No surprises here and other than outdated furnishings I would go back.
Food is always big yummy portions, no complaints there and the restaurant is very outdated with old tables and chairs, could use a lil update. Waitress was very nice and accommodating. She took order right away. Only problem is we waited a very, very long time for food to make it to the table, a table came in after us and was served at least 20 minutes before us. Then the waitress just started completely ignoring us, and not even looking at us now ? She even told another table that came in after us that their food would be out shortly never acknowledged us. Not sure what happened in translation, we never even bothered her? It was Mother's Day and busy but after 12.

Love the food here. Good old fashion breakfast food. Hard to find in the Bay Area. If you are looking for your bacon eggs and potatoes, this is for you! Also the Bacon is thick cut and amazing!
Had a fantastic breakfast at Carlos' Country Kitchen (90 College Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95401). Tried the delicious French toast with strawberries and whipped cream, paired with a flavorful bacon omelette. Both were tasty, and the hot coffee rounded off the meal perfectly. Highly recommend!
My absolute favorite guilty pleasure. Enchilada omlette with fries.. Still a neighborhoid favorite family owned with Carlos still at rhe helm....great wholesome big breakfast with good coffee (not stingy with refills) and burger place, great sandwiches too. Don't come here expecting to find vegan fare... On a busy day sit at the counter if you want to watch the amazing 'dance' in the tiny open kitchen. outside... the service is friendly and efficient. Private lot parking, men's restroom entrance on outside...
